Missions and Outreach News

Pastor Africano Magyezi  participates in Missions around Uganda, East Africa and the region at large. Below are some of the outreach programs he participates:

1. Finding the Lost 2 x 2 Mission's Programs.

 He is part of the Team of Missionaries of the Finding the Lost 2 x 2 Mission; a World Revival Mission that aims to revive the Church of Jesus Christ, to her calling in World Evangelism.  Different missions have been going on in different countries in Africa; Namely: Burundi, Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, uganda and Zambia.

In their upcoming year, more countries are being put on board. Trainings are conducted. Certificate Warding ceremonies held; e.g. Certificate-awarding function in Kiruhura Town Council at Amen Commission Church, in which more than 300 missionaries were awarded certificates of completion of training in Evangelism Techniques.

The Director, Pr. Kamanda Robert was there to give the certificates Pr. Magyezi Africano is the General Secretary for the International Missions

 

2. National Fellowship of Born-again Pentecostal Churches (NFBPC) of Uganda's Outreach Missions:

Ministry of church Planting/Extension - NFBPC - Uganda undertakes church planting missions. Pr. Magyezi Africano as the General Secretary of the Ministry, travels countrywide to sensitize in the church planting program with the team. The Ministry envisions planting more than 20,000 churches within three years in the whole country

The have so far sensitized pastors in Lira, Mayuge, Nakaseke, Rukungiri. districts of Uganda. More districts are yet to be visited.  as we visit the district, we hold three-day seminars, in which we exhort church planting and give basic tools required in the process. 

 

3. Ministry Outreach Missions:

The Ministry undertakes Missions that include; Trainings, Church Planting and Evangelism.  These missions, in the most cases are self-sponsored, using the meager resources at hand.  However, desire for expanded operations remains the prayer of the ministry

4. National Fellowship of Born-again Pentecostal Churches of Uganda.

Rev. Africano Magyezi was appointed the National Administrator/ Clerk of the NFBPC in 2013. He undertakes National Church duties in the areas of updating the National Data-bank of the Churches in Uganda, Registers new churches and recommends different church leaders in areas that require National recognition. He also trains and equips leaders with administrative skills to undertake ministry and administration.
